I feel so lucky to have the most wonderful followers and I feel I need to apologize to you. As you all know, I’m in technology sales and the last couple of weeks have been a complete nightmare due to our year-end. I have been doing my best to post on time and reply to all your super sweet comments, but I’ve been failing miserably. I promise once all this is over (and I close every deal), I will resume to posting on time, replying to all your comments and visiting all my favorite blogs.
In the meantime, please have a little patience with me and I promise I will return to normal soon.

Oooh, sorry for the late post today, but I have a good excuse. I was at the DVF Sample Sale this morning! (You can find all details on our FB page) . Today, the DVF Sample Sale opened their doors to friends and family. It opens to the public tomorrow, but I was able to get a sneak peak 😉 OK, I can’t even pretend I’m special. I heard somewhere that they won’t turn you away at the door even if you’re not F&F. I decided to take a leap of faith and go. I got to the office early to jump on a conference call and drop of my stuff. At around 8:30 I changed into flats, grabbed a credit card and rushed off to 5th Avenue (need to keep the baggage light!) Luckily, it’s only a few blocks away from my office. I arrived a few minutes later to a line of about 10 women patiently waiting to be let in. We soon found out that only Press was allowed in between 8 and 10AM. Crap, I have a meeting at 11AM! I have a busy week this week, so if not now, I didn’t know when I would be able to come back. I decided to wait. I remembered the weatherman on the news mention some rain this afternoon, well, he was wrong! It came down this morning all over me and the ladies on line. Luckily, the super nice door man had umbrellas for us. How nice is that? Love that DVF has such great people working for her. Ok ok, enough of that. So finally, 10am arrives and I go in. I had to be very strategic because I only had 30 minutes, which meant no trying anything on. My eyes opened up wide as I look at all the lovely bright prints and wrap dresses. I find the row with my size and go in for the kill. There were tons of wrap dresses, resort wear and lots and lots of color! I scored two wrap dresses and a lovely bag. I will be sure to post them on the blog soon, I promise. In the meantime, if you don’t live in nyc, DVF is having their FIRST sample sale ONLINE. Sign up here to get an invite. http://www.dvfsamplesale.com/
Oh yeah, here’s what I wore this weekend, if you’re not rushing off to sign up for the sale already 🙂
Are you planning on attending the DVF SS on 5th Avenue or online?

I found this dress on SUPER sale during the winter. I normally don’t buy things completely out of season in order to wear it a year later, however this just seemed like one of those timeless pieces. I wore this to my cousin’s baby shower, Patty. She’s one of my youngest cousins. I still remember Patty when she learned how to walk. She grew up to be a beautiful woman and is now expecting a baby with her hubby Brian. Can’t wait to meet their little girl later this summer.
By the way, I’m so addicted to these shoes. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing them a lot this summer. They just brighten up any outfit.
What do you think?

As soon as I saw this dress, I knew that I wanted to wear it with colorful accessories. At the sake of not looking like a clown, I stuck to primary colors. I got this yellow bag at the Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale last week. I think it’s my new favorite go-to bag. I decided to keep my jewelry low key, only wore a watch.
What do you think? Too much color or just enough?
