I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones, I did. This is what I wore to my parent’s house to celebrate Thanksgiving and my daddy’s birthday. We had a great dinner with 21 of our closest relatives and friends, it was so great to spend time with the people I love.

My apologies for the lack of posts….work has be HECTIC!!! The good news is that I have a bunch of great outfit shots to share with you. Stay tuned. Oh by the way, how much do you love these stockings 🙂
This weekend I celebrated on of my best friend’s birthday, Happy Birthday Meli!!! I also stopped by Kohls to check out J-Lo’s new line and walked away with this awesome LC jacket (I’ll be wearing it with EVERYTHIG this fall) and this super cute J-Lo top. At $84, I thought it was a bit too pricey, but a sweet lady behind the counter gave me a coupon so I got it for $60. It’s a great fit and I can’t wait to pair it with flowy pants, or skinny jeans!!!
Ooooohhhh…..I also finally got a tripod in hopes that my pictures are a little brighter. Stay tuned!

I used to look at fashion magazines and runways for inspiration until I discovered the amazing world of fashion bloggers. These are every day girls expressing their style and creating wearable looks. One of my favorite bloggers is Anh from 9to5 Chic, she has an unbelievable sense of style. I love her style so much that I couldn’t help myself and copy an outfit from one of her posts, I even went out and bought the same shirt!

As many of you know, I’m a pretty conservative dresser even when trying out a new trend. This is my interpretation on “mixing patterns”. I figured I couldn’t go wrong if I kept the paterns in the same color family…baby steps! Also, I’m trying to incorporate more jewelry into my wardrobe. Keep an eye out for my recent DIY project for jewelry storage.
